Gender ID: Femme (she/her)
Age 26, Caucasian. Average height and weight, but keeps in shape. Claims she dyes her hair blue (it's naturally this color). Usual outfit is a sweater, short pencil skirt, and patterned black stockings.
A fascinating mix of Indiana Jones and Jessica Jones, combining an analytical mind and strong moral center with a breezy disinterest in people's stupid behavior. Her humor is dry, but she genuinely believes in People (writ large) while often being exasperated at people (individual). Feels like she should have an "artistic" hobby but is bad at all of the ones she tries (current choice: watercolor painting). Degree in Forensic Science from Loyola.
Post-Cascade, she's revealed to be an agent of The Lighthouse, an ancient organization (beginning in Alexandria) with the twin aims of keeping magical artifacts out of dangerous hands, and protecting everyday citizens from supernatural forces that are "out of balance."
• [Someone] gives you info about a Circle you don't understand. You owe them a Debt.
• You secretly helped [Someone] get justice for a wrong done upon them. They owe you a Debt; tell them why you helped.
• Your service forced you to punish or kill [Someone's] ally or friend on behalf of their masters. You owe them a Debt.
• Devious: +1 Mind.
• Protect and Serve: Roll Mind to read a charged situation. Success allows questions, and get +1 ongoing when acting on the answers.
• Shatter a magical spell, illusion, or enchantment with a touch.
• Cloak yourself in magic armor; expend it to ignore all harm one time
• Strike down all lesser foes in the vicinity with a blast of elemental force.
• Force someone to answer your questions truthfully for a scene.
The Odinspear, Gungnir, with which Odin pierced himself while hanging above Mimir's Well to obtain wisdom. In addition to its properties as a weapon (3-harm mythic anchored), the haft is carved with the runes Odin obtained wisdom from, which the wielder can draw on in times of crisis (advancing the Let It Out move).
Armitage is an agent of an ancient order referred to only as "The Lighthouse." In antiquity, its leadership (an order of secret immortals) decided that 'the balance needed to be kept' and laid the groundwork for a long-term organization that would protect people from magic (or other supernatural forces) gone awry.
Lighthouse agents are primarily tasked with keeping supernatural threats to "common" people in check (by investigating threats and problems) and liaise with the supernatural community (i.e. negotiating with allies and vassals).
Her vows center on executing the core mission without disrupting "normal" society:
• Never strike the first blow
• Never reveal your faction's secrets
• Always avoid collateral damage
• Always protect members of Power from harm
• Always seize that which your masters desire
